Like Mother, like daughter II

My mother has a photo of me spitting out mashed bananas when I was a baby. And of all the dislikes to stick, that one has always stuck. I still don’t like bananas.

And it appears I’ve passed it along.

Open your mouth...

Open your mouth and I’ll give you a yummy surprise!

Hmm, yummy bananas!

Aren’t bananas good?

Yucky Bananas

Puh-lease! I’d rather eat paper!

Yeah, well, Felicity. That’s not saying much.

Hey, didn’t the dr. tell you to feed it to the baby ten times before you decide she really doesn’t like it? Then the question becomes who is more worn out Mom or baby? My baby likes green beans, but only if he can put his fist in his mouth afterwards. It must help the beans go down or something. šŸ™‚

Obviously, you’ve ten-time-tested the paper thing.

My nephew hated bananas as well. It was funny watching him when they were serruptitiously put on his tray. He hated the feel of them on his fingers as well as in his mouth.

It’s too bad as they are such a great finger food.

  3. If I didn’t know better, I’d say you’ve moved on from this blog!!

I miss reading your post… please come back.

Ahh! I know. Sorry. I’ll come back. Just need to align the stars first.

Or is it that I need to wait for the stars to align?

Or maybe the stars never align and that’s why people say that?

I need to find something that I want to do less, and then I’ll make time for the blog again. Using the ‘ole’ procrastination bug against itself’ trick. šŸ™‚

Thanks for reading though. I appreciate it!

  5. Well, I’m glad to know you’re still around.
